LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR DIFFERENT

CLASS TYPES

We are going to be offering a few different types of classes when we open in September 2026. All these classes are hugely popular at our previously established studio - 'Duchy Dance Academy' (based in Cornwall). There really is something for everyone! Read a little more about each class type to see what might be right for your child.

Dance

Our dance classes are a fun, high-energy way to move, learn, and express yourself. Students build confidence, coordination, and strength while learning choreography and technique in a supportive environment.

We teach the foundations to lyrical, contemporary and jazz dance styles, creating regular routines for local shows and optional competitions too.

Cheerleading

Our cheerleading classes combine athletic skills, teamwork, and school spirit in a fun and motivating environment. Students learn cheers, jumps, basic stunts, and dance routines while building strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence. Classes emphasize safety, discipline, and positive attitude, making them great for both beginners and experienced cheerleaders.

Acro

Our acrobatic and gymnastics classes focus on building strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination in a safe and supportive environment. In Beginner Acro students learn fundamental skills such as rolls, handstands, bridges, cartwheels, and basic acrobatic movements while developing confidence and body control. In Intermediate Acro students progress onto learning walkovers, handsprings and aerials.

Classes are designed for all skill levels and emphasize proper technique, progression, and fun as athletes grow at their own pace. They pair nicely with dance or cheerleading pathways.

Theatre

Our theatre classes inspire creativity, confidence, and self-expression through acting, movement, and voice. Students explore character development, improvisation, stage presence, and storytelling while learning the basics of performance and collaboration. In a supportive and fun environment, students build communication skills, imagination, and confidence both on and off the stage.
