DANCE ACADEMY
Brixham Dance Academy is dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where students can explore their passion for dance, drama, and cheerleading. Our academy is committed to nurturing creativity and self-expression while fostering a sense of community and belonging.

After four incredible years of growth, creativity, and community at out our first school 'Duchy Dance Academy' (based in Cornwall), we are thrilled to announce the opening of our second dance school - Brixham Dance Academy.
What began as a small studio with a big dream has flourished into a vibrant space where dancers of all ages have built confidence, skill, and lifelong friendships. The success of our original school over the past four years has not only exceeded our expectations but also inspired us to expand our vision.
This new branch will carry forward the same passion, high-quality instruction, and supportive environment that families have come to love, while offering even more opportunities for students to shine. We are excited to welcome new dancers and continue sharing our love of movement with an even larger community.

OUR APPROACH TO DANCE EDUCATION
MEET OUR TEAM
Megan is the main teacher at Brixham Dance Academy. This will be her second program within the South West. She has previously built Duchy Dance Academy in Cornwall, which continues to thrive under her ownership. She has teaching dance for 15 years and coaching cheerleading for the past 10 after her time competing and coaching her university cheerleading team. She has a Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance). She has competed Nationally and Internationally and also appeared in professional productions whilst living in London. Megan has trained in RAD, IDTA and LAMDA and now holds numerous dance and cheerleading qualifications, including being a BGU Platinum Standard recognised coach too.
She has Level 1-3 Cheerleading qualifications, along with specialised SEND qualifications for Cheerleading and Dance.

Principle & Owner
Aimee is a Falmouth University graduate - gaining a first class honours in BA Hons in Musical Theatre. She has already gained multiple teaching qualifications through BGU and is also recognised as a Platinum Standard coach. Aimee herself has competed nationally and internationally obtaining many different titles for her achievements. Aimee specialises in dance and musical theatre.
Aimee will be part of our workshop teaching team and be a frequent face to Brixham Dance Academy.

Libby Hindle is born and raised in Brixham with strong family ties to the community. She has a passion for childcare, meaning she will be on hand to nurture your child into the class environment. Libby will also be taking on an admin and media role too, to help our community grow.
